Admission to the 1st year of master's degree for foreign citizens is subject to the following conditions:

• bachelor's degree or specialist's degree;

• successful completion of the entrance examination;

• an invitation from the university to study.

List of documents that applicants personally or by post submit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in paper form:

1. application;

2. a document (original and copy) on the previously obtained educational (educational qualification) level, on the basis of which admission is made (during the first semester of study, its nostrification is carried out);

3. an appendix (original and copy) to the document on the previously obtained educational (educational qualification) level on the basis of which the admission is made;

4. a copy of a foreigner's passport or a document certifying a stateless person;

5. health insurance policy, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine;

6. six photographs 35 x 45 mm in size (colour, matte).

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3 must be certified in the country of their issue in the manner officially used in that country for such certification and legalised by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided by international agreements of Ukraine.

Nostrification of these documents is carried out during the first semester of study. The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3, 4 must be translated into Ukrainian with a notarised translation in 2 copies each.

Entrance exams:

• foreign language;

• speciality of study.

Entrance examinations are held according to the schedule approved by the certification commissions of the institutes (faculties).

In case you have insufficient Ukrainian/English language proficiency to admission or study, you can improve your Ukrainian/English skills by preparatory course in our University. The teachers of the "Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens" will help you learn not only the language for communication, but also the fundamental disciplines necessary for admission and further study at the University: mathematics, physics, chemistry. Classes at the Preparatory Department can begin at any month of the academic year as groups of 15 people are formed; the duration of the preparatory course is 10 months. At the successful end of the preparatory course, a State Certificate is issued, giving you the right to enter both Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and any Univerity in Ukraine.
